It's All Fun and Games: Rory's Story Cubes

I am such a big fan of Rory Story Cubes as a conversational bonding activity with the kiddos. There are so many ways you can play with the cubes, but one of my favorites is to create a story chain with each player adding a cube, and a part, to the story. This approach allows for me to create certain themes or situations in the story, and seeing how the child responds or problem solves.

Another way we play is to write themes on pieces of paper. At the start of each player's turn, we draw a theme, roll the cubes and create a story around that theme.  So much fun! It stimulates that imagination and makes for some funny moments. A must have for any game closet!
