Small Style: The Cat's Meow

As the summer winds down it's time to say goodbye to shorts and swimsuits, and time to say hello to sweaters and cozy coats. During my recent shopping trips, I've been focusing on pieces that are versatile enough to carry the kiddos through the last few weeks of summer right into the fall.

I'm usually not one for cutesy animals on clothes, but this pink cardi from H&M was just too adorable to resist. The kitty cardi, paired with polka dot corduroy shorts and sweet cream ballet flats is a great look for when the summer heat settles and the mild weather kicks in. Add in a pair of tights underneath the shorts for chillier days. Viola! A girly sweet outfit without the fuss.
